Ranking of the world's business schools by the research portal EDUNIVERSAL

5–9 place among business schools of North-Western and Central Russia. The ranking is based on recommendations of deans of national business schools.

10th annual survey by the Guild of Marketers

HSE takes 1st place.

The survey was conducted with the support of the Russian BTL Partnership, the professional portal of marketers, the Russian Marketing Association, the Union of Marketers of Russia and the Russian Association of Marketing Services. 499 experts from 44 Russian cities took part. Higher and additional education programs in marketing were evaluated.

2010

Ranking of the best financial universities by «Finance» magazine

HSE takes 10th place.

The ranking is based on data on the education of financial directors of large enterprises. The more graduates hold the position of head of the financial unit, the better the education at a given institution. The size of the business and the cost of tuition were also taken into account.

Ranking of olympiads with the highest academic performance of diploma holders

HSE Interregional Multidisciplinary Olympiad — 3rd place.

The TOP-20 olympiads with the highest academic performance of diploma holders was compiled by the Russian Union of Rectors as part of an inter-university study «Academic performance of first-year students of higher educational institutions of Russia». When ranking the olympiads whose results are taken into account for admission to universities, the following indicators were taken into account:

• the share of olympiad students studying only for «good» and «excellent» grades,
• the share of olympiad students who completed the first session with academic debt,
• the average grade based on the results of the first session among olympiad students

Ranking of student dormitories by «Trud» newspaper

HSE takes 2nd place.

When compiling the ranking, the living conditions in student dormitories of the largest universities in the country were analyzed.

2009

Ranking of universities by the level of achievements of graduates — representatives of Russian elites, «ReitOR» agency

In the ranking «Second and higher education of the business elite» — 7th place.

To compile the ranking, data on 753 representatives of the business elite were analyzed — based on the rankings «1000 most professional managers of Russia» (project of the Association of Managers of Russia) and the 4th annual ranking of Russian billionaires (500 people), published in «Finance» magazine.

Ranking of universities based on the media database of the «Medialogia» system

2nd place

When compiling the ranking, the annual media activity of participants in the Russian education market was taken into account. It is based on the Information Favorability Index, which reflects the information situation around the university. The ranking methodology takes into account the number and quality of messages related to the ranking participants. About 20 thousand messages from more than 4000 influential Russian and foreign information sources were analyzed.

Ranking of universities by the magazine of Sberbank of Russia «Direct Investments»

In the ranking «The most prestigious universities of Russia» — 2nd place in 2008, 3rd place in 2007.

In the ranking by the level of average salary of graduates «Managers, lawyers and financiers are in demand» — 1st place in 2008 and 2007.

The ranking is based on a survey of representatives of 135 enterprises from various industries in 14 regions of the country.

«Business Rating of Higher Education» (DReVO) of the public organization «Business Russia»

Place in the alpha league of universities.

The ranking is based on VCIOM surveys of HR services of more than 1000 successful Russian companies, as well as about 2000 young employees of these companies who graduated from universities in 2002–2005. During the surveys, the following were identified:

• preferences of HR services regarding graduates of specific universities;
• the presence of stable ties between enterprises and universities, including agreements, internship programs, regular hiring of graduates;
• conducting targeted campaigns at selected universities.

The ranking includes three leagues of universities, within which no further ranking is carried out. Alpha league — universities whose graduates enjoy «broad recognition in the labor market, have a stable reputation and actively cooperate with employers». Beta league — successful specialized universities that train in relevant specialties: oil and gas industry, financial sector, construction. Gamma league — recognized regional universities with long-standing ties to employers.

The ranking is based on a questionnaire survey of 300 largest Russian companies. The number of companies that named the university among the most authoritative educational institutions whose graduates they would like to see among their employees was taken into account. If the numbers for different universities coincided, it was taken into account how many companies hired graduates of these universities. If these numbers also coincided, the publication's representatives compared the number of graduates of these universities hired by companies from the list of the three hundred largest that sent questionnaires.

Comprehensive public assessment of Moscow universities by «ReitOR» agency

In the «ranking of Moscow universities based on the study of the opinions of senior students, employers, teachers» — 2nd place in the field of «Economics and Management».

In the ranking of Moscow university websites — 1st place.

In the ranking of student dormitories — 1st place.

During the study in April–June 2008, senior students of 34 Moscow universities (final-year bachelor's, specialist's and master's students) — more than 5.5 thousand people, more than 1.5 thousand teachers of graduating departments of Moscow universities and about 1 thousand representatives of employers of state and commercial organizations in Moscow with different numbers of employees — were surveyed.

2007

Monitoring of economic universities by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia

The ranking is compiled on the basis of official data received from university administrations, which take into account many parameters: composition and quality of the teaching staff, the number of students in different forms of study, the presence of students from other countries, the volume of scientific research, publishing activity, and student support.

Ranking of the investment company FINAM «Economic universities from the point of view of investors»

When compiling the ranking, investors were surveyed about the quality of training of stock market specialists by universities.
